Klein-Rogge as the Director
As the director of a popular stageshow, Rudolf has a lot on his mind. He has to keep some of his stars from fighting with each other, and still make sure the acts run smoothly. On top of everything, he has the sneaking suspicion that his headline act, the tightrope-walker Truxa, is an imposter! This overwhelmed director has many reasons to be edgy sometimes, but he is not completely without heart. Klein-Rogge plays his part with the same determination and patience that he must have had in his own directing experiences.
