Der Judas von Tirol (1933)
Klein-Rogge in the role of the French First Officer.
(Standing with his hand on his hip.  Theodor Loos, seated.)

Probably one of his best sound roles.    He plays a French officer who is looking for the hero, Andreas Hofer,  who is hiding in the mountains somewhere around Tirol.  He has a commanding screen presence when interrogating various townspeople about the whereabouts of the wanted man.  He is particularly funny in this part, too, as he has some trouble in one scene finding the right words in German to say to a prisoner.  Very convincing, especially when he tries his language skills on a blonde beauty in the tavern early in the film.  This movie is a must-see for the tavern scene alone, trust me.
