Klein-Rogge in the role of Oberst Flummes
This is one of my favorites of his comedic parts. He is particularly chubby in this role, adding to his overall comic appearance, as you can see in the lower picture. What a rotten joke...hehehe...that double chin.
And to contribute to this fat gag, he is seen at one point in the film at a banquet. Now, he is supposed to uphold his public-serving image and not make a hog of himself, correct? Not so. Let me just say this is the first time I've ever seen him talk with his mouth full!
He also uses a very funny voice in this role, not at all sounding like his real self. Oh, and watch out for his mischievous giggle - priceless.
